Marie Aydelotte, MD
Vice President, Medical Services / Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Marie Aydelotte has been appointed Vice President, Medical Services and Chief Medical Officer in March 2015. In this role, she will be responsible for overseeing Jewish Senior Life’s Medical Department.
Dr. Aydelotte joined Jewish Senior Life’s medical department in October, 2014. She has more than 15 years’ experience as Medical Director in long-term care facilities and has an outstanding reputation in the Rochester medical community..
Dr. Aydelotte completed her M.D. degree at the University of Connecticut and her residency in Internal Medicine and a Fellowship in Geriatrics at the University of Rochester. Dr. Aydelotte is a board certified Geriatrician and is also board certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice/Palliative Care.
Douglas Fetkenhour, MD
Staff Physician, Transitional Care Program
Dr. Douglas Fetkenhour is a board-certified physiatrist (rehabilitation specialist). He is a graduate of Jefferson Medical College and completed residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at University Hospital, SUNY Upstate in Syracuse.
He was previously on the physiatry staff at Strong Memorial Hospital. His interests include the rehabilitation of stroke, joint replacement, and the medically complex patient.
Brenda Baratta, MD
Physician House Calls
Dr. Brenda Baratta completed her undergraduate, medical school and residency training at the University of Rochester. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and was previously in private practice in the Rochester area. She specializes in the care of frail older adults.
Jyothsna Ponnuri, MD, CMD, HMDC
Associate Medical Director and Director of Palliative Care
Dr. Jyothsna Ponnuri is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice/Palliative medicine and a member of the American Medical Directors Association. She previously worked at Unity Geriatric Associates where she was a primary care provider in skilled nursing facilities including long-term care and rehabilitation units, assisted living facilities and outpatient care and inpatient admissions. She completed her internal medicine residency program at Unity Health System .
