About Us
In 1920, five visionary women with a passionate cause went door to door, asking support from the Jewish community to create a Jewish Home in Rochester. Their diligence led to the successful formation of our Jewish Home. As they believed back then, we, too, predicate our commitment that older adults deserve to age gracefully, successfully and with dignity.
Since those early days, our community has consistently stepped forward to support the highest quality care, innovative programs and a quality of life for seniors. An independent organization, the Jewish Home Foundation was established to secure philanthropic support from generous individuals and families who understand the important mission of Jewish Senior Life and its family of caregivers.
